The great enemy of men is not facing themselves after falling short of being the men we desire to become. It is not wrong to fall short of such a goal. It is only important men keep trying, and if we fall short of it again, we fall short closer to that great vision of ourselves.

To look into your soul and see what we are and what we tell ourselves we are, is to know how different those two things are from each other. The only way to do that is to be savagely honest with yourself. Let the truth kill the man you were to become the man you desire to be.
